Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy Can Help

Your vestibular system includes the parts of the inner ear and brain that process the sensory information involved with controlling balance and eye movements. When an injury or disease damages the vestibular system you may experience dizziness and balance issues. Your symptoms may include:

  • Dizziness and vertigo

  • Feeling off balance

  • Blurred vision

  • Feeling like the world is spinning

  • Disorientation

  • Nauseousness

You may also begin to stumble or fall. Fortunately, physio can help!

Using specific head, body, and eye exercises, Vestibular Rehabilitation is a therapy we use at Advanced Physiotherapy to deal with dizziness and balance conditions. We will design a customized treatment plan aimed at correcting your vertigo and reducing or eliminating your symptoms.
